The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved a ₹2,387-crore outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) facility by Advanced System in Package Technologies at Tarluvada, Visakhapatnam. The Adani Group has also received approval for a 1000mw AI-Data Center, with 601.4 acres allotted across Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli.

Vizag is set to become a major data center hub with significant investments in digital infrastructure. A tax holiday for data centers until 2047 is expected to boost Visakhapatnam's development, attracting foreign investment and strengthening the region's digital infrastructure. India is investing in new infrastructure, including an $11 billion project in Vizag to establish a 1GW data center hub by 2030.
