Delhi PWD to Get Independent Engineering Cadre, Boosting Infrastructure Projects

The Centre has approved the Delhi government's proposal to create a separate engineering cadre for the PWD , transferring 3,214 sanctioned engineering posts. This move is expected to strengthen the department's engineering system, improve project monitoring, and expedite the execution of infrastructure projects in the capital, including a new Secretariat and mini-secretariats.
