The Meerut Development Authority is planning a new township in the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) influence zone of the Meerut South Namo Bharat Station. This 295-hectare greenfield development will be of mixed-use. It aims to create a self-sustaining urban ecosystem, leveraging connectivity from the Namo Bharat/RRTS corridor.

The Meerut-Haridwar Link Expressway, an extension of the Ganga Expressway, is progressing with its 146 km stretch. This development is part of Uttar Pradesh's broader expressway expansion plan, aiming to enhance connectivity and facilitate economic growth.

UP is planning an industrial corridor along the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, aiming to boost industrial growth and create job opportunities across 26 districts. Land acquisition has begun to identify approximately 1,000 hectares for attracting investments. The corridor will benefit from easy access to expressways and highways, potentially attracting thousands of crores in investment.

The Haryana Government has approved the final alignment for the Greater Noida-Faridabad-Gurugram Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Project, a 64 km infrastructure development with integrated RRTS-metro hubs and six additional stations, requiring an estimated investment of Rs 150 billion. Corridor will integrate with Delhi Metro, Rapid Metro and Gurugram Metro.

The Meerut Metro and Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat RRTS witnessed a surge in ridership on their first full day of commercial operations, with over 1 lakh commuters recorded. The integrated system, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is designed to reduce travel time between Delhi and Meerut to approximately 55 minutes and aims to improve regional connectivity and promote public transport.
