BDA and BMC have launched a pilot project to install modern traffic and parking-cum-commuter sheds at key locations. These shelters feature flame vine creepers on fabric canopies, creating a natural green cover that will reduce heat absorption and lower ambient temperatures.

Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed an MoU with the Odisha Government to provide term loans up to ₹1 lakh crore over five years for urban infrastructure and housing projects. The Bhubaneswar Railway Station is being upgraded into a modern transit hub with significant infrastructure improvements. A new air concourse has been introduced, providing seamless connectivity across all six platforms and greatly enhancing passenger convenience and movement within the station.
