The Odisha government is planning a new four-lane expressway connecting Rasulgarh to Raghunathpur in the northern corridor of the capital region to ease traffic congestion. Envisioned as an alternative to the heavily congested Jayadev Vihar–Nandankanan road, this expressway aims to provide a high-speed corridor linking NH-16 with residential and commercial hubs in the northern sectors.
