The long-delayed Barapullah Phase III elevated corridor is scheduled to be inaugurated on September 29. This five-kilometer corridor will provide a signal-free link between Mayur Vihar Phase I in East Delhi and Sarai Kale Khan, with onward connectivity to AIIMS and South Delhi.
In response to student accommodation shortages and safety concerns, the Delhi government has announced plans to construct hostels for 10,000 students.
