When I lived in Badarpur a few years back, everything was easily accessible and therefore, the locality fulfilled all the residential needs of the local people. Grocery stores and markets were only a few minute's walks from my apartment and the quick availability of cabs and autos made transport even easier. The locality even had shared autos making transport cheaper. I used the violet metro line for daily commuting to work.
I recently rented an apartment in Badarpur and so far, I am happy. The locality is very safe and even at night, I don’t feel uncomfortable going out on my own. Till now, I have not encountered issues like power cuts and shortages of water supply. I have very good access to medical stores, markets, grocery stores, malls, and so on. Everything is available within a walking distance from my locality.
I am a long-time resident of Badarpur, Delhi and overall, I am satisfied with the locality. The locality is popular for its Badarpur Border bus terminal and Delhi Metro on the violet line. The area is also known for several well-reputed educational institutes like the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) and Kendriya Vidyalaya. It has very good connectivity to Gurgaon and Noida. I have very good access to banks and ATMs.
Good locality like -transport, school, easy availability of daily goods at afordable price, good connectivity.
One of the best things about living in Badarpur is that the locality has everything one can ask for. From modern transport to hospitals, shopping malls, restaurants, and groceries, there is everything in close vicinity. However, public dustbins and sewage water often overflow when it rains and the lanes are narrow causing more pollution. I have also experienced frequent traffic jams and a lack of proper parking space in the locality.
I have been living in Badarpur for a few years now and overall, my experience is good. The availability of metro railway and bus services along with autos and cabs make commuting easier for the local people. However, water lodging is becoming a growing problem in Badarpur and regular construction works make the locality even more polluted. The locality has close connectivity to all the major points of the city.
