The A.P. Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APTIDCO) will distribute approximately 3,600 houses built at a cost of ₹323 crore to eligible beneficiaries across Visakhapatnam district. This initiative aims to provide permanent housing security . Houses will be distributed in Bheemunipatnam, Pendurthi, and Gajuwaka assembly constituencies.

Visakhapatnam is experiencing a surge in vertical housing projects due to land scarcity and evolving customer preferences. New Andhra Pradesh Building Rules have raised the threshold for high-rise classification, allowing developers to build taller mid-rise project. Several new residential projects have been launched, including VK Aurora in Madhurawada and Utkarsha Pearl in Bheemunipatnam.

The 11th CREDAI Property Expo in Visakhapatnam attracted over 14,000 visitors & Rs 100 crore in business enquiries. GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg attributed the rapid growth in Visakhapatnam's real estate sector to recent amendments in building rules aimed at fostering sustainable and investor-friendly development. VK Aurora in Madhurawada and Utkarsha Pearl in Bheemunipatnam have launched new residential projects.
