The Vizag North region is considered to be one of the most happening and posh zones in Visakhapatnam. This is a major Assembly Constituency and offers good infrastructure and amenities to residents. Vizag North is home to several premium areas like Marripalem, Seethammadhara and Sithampeta among others. Visakhapatnam or Vizag is the biggest city and financial hub of Andhra Pradesh. The Eastern Naval Command has its administrative headquarters here. Vizag is home to several tourist attractions like the Dolphin’s Nose Lighthouse, Araku Valley, Beach Road, VUDA Park, Matsyadarasini (Aquarium), INS Kursura Submarine Museum, Visakha Museum and some gorgeous beaches. There is the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in the city that draws tourists in droves every year along with Dr. Ramanaidu Film Studio. Vizag is also home to the biggest musical fountain in the country in its central park. Top beaches in Vizag include the Rushikonda Beach, Ramakrishna Mission Beach and Mangamaripeta Beach among others. The Borra Caves are popular attractions along with the Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary.
