Visakhapatnam is poised for significant economic growth with the approval of projects worth ₹31,387 crore is slated for development at Amanam village in Bheemunipatnam mandal. This influx of investment is expected to create substantial employment opportunities, strengthen the industrial ecosystem.

A World Bank team held discussions with GVMC officials to assess Visakhapatnam's development potential and infrastructure needs, including water supply, sewerage, sanitation, road infrastructure, mobility corridors, and housing.
