Additionally, the BMC is planning to establish a construction waste processing unit to manage construction and demolition waste effectively, reducing pollution and promoting recycling.

The Public Works Department is implementing a decongestion plan for Bhubaneswar, which includes 37 road development projects and the construction of three new road overbridges (ROBs) in partnership with the railways.
