The Mohali Municipal Corporation has approved a proposal to establish a 300-tonne-per-day compressed biogas (CBG) plant at Samgauli village. This plant will process segregated wet waste from nine urban local bodies, converting it into compressed biogas and organic manure.
A new 700mm RCC HDP sewerage pipeline is being installed from Chawla Chowk to Mataur Chowk in Phase 7, Mohali, at a cost of ₹1.45 crore.
