LDA has approved a comprehensive package of 120 projects totaling Rs 266 crore to enhance urban infrastructure, public amenities, tourism, and emergency response. Key initiatives include a Rs 25 crore water laser light and sound show at the Gomti riverfront, Rs 68 crore for advanced firefighting platforms, amongst many other smaleer projects.

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is planning a major expansion of the Anant Nagar housing scheme, aiming to develop 10,000 flats. This initiative is part of LDA's role in structured and sustainable urban development, including promoting affordable housing.

Among these is a new integrated township in Amausi, near the airport corridor, aimed at planned urban expansion. The 63-km Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway is nearing completion and is expected to be operational by February 2026. This project, built at a cost of Rs 4,700 crore, will reduce travel time between Lucknow's Amausi area and Kanpur to just 40 minutes. LDA has approved proposals for seven new private townships and four major residential schemes, set to be launched in 2026. These developments, spread over 385 acres, are expected to attract ₹10,000 crore in investment and create thousands of jobs, particularly in Mohanlalganj and Sarojininagar tehsils. Additionally, 1,100 EWS homes will be built in Sharda Nagar .

Uttar Pradesh's extensive expressway network, involving an investment of Rs 50,000 crore for 2,650 km, is significantly impacting Lucknow's real estate market by reducing travel times and integrating the city into a wider regional grid. This development is driving sustained demand for organized, plotted developments and integrated townships.

Lucknow Development Authority has accelerated its Naimish Nagar township project, with farmers consenting to provide 430 hectares of land along IIM Road. This move is expected to pave the way for planned development in north Lucknow. The project aims to accommodate nearly two lakh residents and will include amenities like wide roads, green belts, parks, schools, and hospitals.

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has approved a budget of ₹4,692 crore for the financial year 2026-27. The budget also includes ₹271 crore for road construction and repairs and plans to develop vacant land through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, aiming for overall cdevelopment, sanitation, and stronger infrastructure.

The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) House approved revisions to license fees for commercial establishments, mutation charges, and increased rents for community halls and public venues. Mutation fees for inheritance cases are now fixed at ₹1,000 for properties up to 1,000 sq ft, scaling up to ₹5,000 for larger properties. Registration-based mutation fees range from ₹3,500 to ₹10,000, depending on property value.
