VDA is accelerating infrastructure work for Anand Kashi Yojana, its first integrated township project in over three decades after Lalpur Yojana. The 250-acre Heritage township in Kallipur will feature wide roads, water and sewerage systems, electricity networks, green spaces.. Besides Anand Kashi, the VDA has also approved the 165-acre Residential Rudra Vihar Township at Madhni and the 160-acre Sports City at Ganjari.

A new railway bridge is under construction near Namo Ghat over the Ganga River in Varanasi, running parallel to the old Malviya Bridge. This new bridge will feature four railway lines on the lower deck and a six-lane highway above, significantly transforming Uttar Pradesh's railway map and enabling the operation of more trains.

This plan prioritizes land acquisition and new township initiatives, with a significant focus on modernized residential layouts and institutional infrastructure. The budget also includes provisions for land compensation for schemes like Madhni, Ganjari, and Kallipur.
