Nashik Infrastructure Boost: Corridor Approvals, Rail Projects Advance

NHAI has awarded the Nashik Phata–Khed corridor project, to be executed in two phases at a total cost of ₹7,800 crore, to improve travel times and safety. Phase I, from Nashik Phata to Alandi Phata, is estimated at ₹4,403 crore, while Phase II, the Alandi Phata–Khed stretch, will be built at ₹3,398 crore.Railway Board has approved two new railway lines between Manmad and Kasara for a direct Nashik to Mumbai local train service.
