The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has presented a surplus budget of ₹8,455 crore for the fiscal year 2026-27, prioritizing infrastructure upgrades and water security. Key allocations include the expansion of the Narmada water project (Phase IV) for 24/7 water supply to outskirts and the completion of master plan roads.

Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav inspected ongoing infrastructure development works in Saket Nagar and Tilak Nagar. He reviewed project quality and timelines, assessed a Rs 2.27 crore road project, and directed officials to expedite work while minimizing inconvenience to residents. This initiative aims to improve local infrastructure and connectivity in these areas.
