Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has laid the foundation stone for water supply and development projects worth over ₹1,356 crore under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme. These initiatives aim to strengthen Indore's drinking water infrastructure and ensure long-term water security, including the fourth phase of the Narmada water project and a ₹62.72 crore sewage treatment plant at Sirpur

The final National Lok Adalat of 2025 significantly aided the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) by collecting over Rs 101 crore in a single day. This revenue recovery drive, which saw defaulters paying pending property tax, water tax, and garbage collection charges, will strengthen the IMC's financial position and enable better allocation for civic services.
