The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has proposed to the state government to take over the construction of the Northern Ring Road from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) due to project delays. This move aims to accelerate the project, leveraging JDA's expertise. The project has seen repeated delays despite NHAI initiating land acquisition and obtaining environmental clearances.

The Rajasthan government is planning to develop a new Hi-Tech City near Jaipur, aiming to rival international tech hubs. This project will focus on Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Quantum Computing, with integrated campuses for training, research, and workplaces. It also aims to boost startups with concessional land rates and attract global investment.

JDA has approved ₹665 crore for six infrastructure projects, including the construction of a four-lane elevated road from Aranya Bhavan Chowraha to Jagatpura ROB, aimed at alleviating traffic congestion. Other projects include sewer line & road laying in Prithviraj Nagar.Construction of 55 new roads worth ₹113 crore is underway in the Jhotwara. Northern Ring Road project, with an investment of ₹6,500 crore, too is progressing fast.

The Jaipur Municipal Corporation-Greater has constructed a new sports academy in Ramniwas Bagh with an investment of around Rs 1.5 crore. The academy will feature indoor and outdoor facilities for sports like lawn tennis, badminton, basketball, box cricket, volleyball, carrom, chess, and table tennis. Private entity to manage the facility through a public-private partnership is seeked by Authorities.

Jaipur's traffic police force is facing significant challenges due to a shortage of personnel, with only about one-sixth of the required strength available to manage the city's swelling vehicle count. A 2024 study indicated a daily traffic volume of 3.3 lakh vehicles in Chandpole alone, and the city's vehicle density is alarmingly high.
