The proposed Delhi-Shahdara-Baraut Namo Bharat corridor, managed by NCRTC, is back in focus as part of the region's rapid rail transit vision. While construction details are unannounced, this corridor aims to connect East Delhi with western Uttar Pradesh, easing congestion on existing roads and significantly reducing travel times for commuters.

The Delhi government is planning three major flyover projects, including two elevated corridors and a cable-stayed bridge, to tackle traffic congestion on the Ring Road.
