The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has presented a surplus budget of ₹8,455 crore for the fiscal year 2026-27, prioritizing infrastructure upgrades and water security. Key allocations include the expansion of the Narmada water project (Phase IV) for 24/7 water supply to outskirts and the completion of master plan roads.

A 65-meter-long, 400-tonne steel bowstring girder has been successfully placed atop the Luvkush Square double-decker flyover at a height of 23 meters.
