The Union Ministry has sanctioned ₹150 crore for the concretization of the 6 km Central Avenue stretch from Nagpur Railway Station to Vaishno Devi Square, including stormwater drains and pedestrian walkways. The NMC has approved a ₹14.46 crore plan to resurface 260 roads across 10 zones, prioritizing 135 roads based on deterioration. A new flyover named after Dr. Shrikant Jichkar has been inaugurated on Amravati Road to reduce traffic congesytion. The Indora-Dighori flyover construction too is reaching operational status, soon.
