The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is planning to invest an additional Rs 900 crore in cement road projects, despite having already spent over Rs 1,040 crore on such initiatives. The first phase of the six-lane twin cable-stayed bridge at Ajni, also known as 'Laxman Jhula', is expected to miss its pre-monsoon completion deadline due to substantial pending work. The Rs332 crore project aims to replace a 125-year-old bridge and improve connectivity between South and Central Nagpur.

The Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) has initiated the 'New Nagpur' project, an ambitious plan to develop a high-tech, globally competitive urban hub spanning approximately 1,710 acres. The project aims to attract businesses and provide advanced infrastructure.

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) approved 474 housing projects in Nagpur during the financial year 2025-26. This is part of the total 10,379 projects approved across Maharashtra. These approvals reflect the ongoing development and regulatory compliance within Nagpur's real estate sector, promoting transparency and timely project completion.
