Uttar Pradesh's first integrated green road project, spanning 2.15 km on Gadh Road in Meerut, is slated for completion by June 2026. This eco-friendly initiative aims to create a sustainable road for all users and will serve as a model for similar projects in 12 other cities across the state. The project is managed by the Meerut Municipal Corporation.

Union Minister Peeyush Goyal has called for the development of dedicated sports manufacturing clusters in regions like Meerut, highlighting its potential as a hub for sports goods production. This initiative aims to scale up domestic manufacturing of sports equipment, strengthen indigenous value chains, and generate employment.

Several new residential projects are being launched in Meerut, including Shree Hare Krishna Dham in Malyana, A to Z Green Heights in Siwaya Jamalullapur, and Aries Imperial Heights in Jagriti Vihar. These projects offer various amenities and are designed to cater to modern living needs, contributing to the real estate development in the city.

The Meerut Metro and Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat RRTS witnessed a surge in ridership on their first full day of commercial operations, with over 1 lakh commuters recorded. The integrated system, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is designed to reduce travel time between Delhi and Meerut to approximately 55 minutes and aims to improve regional connectivity and promote public transport.
