A comprehensive development plan for Agra has been launched, encompassing 325 projects worth Rs 6,466 crore. This initiative aims to boost infrastructure, connectivity, and real estate growth in the city. Key projects include the 'Greater Agra' township and other development works across the district, focusing on urban expansion and economic development.

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved major proposals for the expansion of the Agra Metro rail infrastructure.This includes the clearance for land transfer for Corridor-II connecting Agra Cantt to Kalindi Vihar. The project, with a cost of ₹5,801.05 crore, will be funded equally by the Centre and the state government.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 325 development projects in Agra last month, collectively valued at over ₹6,466 crore. These projects aim to strengthen the city's infrastructure, housing, tourism, and connectivity.

The 'Greater Agra' township project, has received RERA approval. This project, developed by the Agra Development Authority, aims to create a major urban and economic hub with modern civic infrastructure.The project is estimated to cost around Rs. 5,142 crore and will be spread across nearly 450 hectares in Raipur and Rahankalan areas ,with 10000 families.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath will perform the ground-breaking and foundation-laying ceremony for the ambitious 'Greater Agra' project worth ₹5,142 crore. The project, developed by the Agra Development Authority (ADA) under the “New City Promotion Scheme,” will feature 10 modern residential townships on 449.65 hectares of land in Raipur and Rehan Kalan villages.
