The foundation stone for the 48-km, four-lane Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Corridor has been laid. This ₹2,935 crore project is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the two cities, improve traffic movement, and benefit approximately 1.5 million people in the surrounding region.

Madhya Pradesh has approved ₹626.49 crore for land compensation for the Indore-Ujjain Green Field 4-Lane road project, The city is also poised for a broader urban revamp with projects like the Siyaganj Commercial Complex, a residential project on Hukumchand Mill land, and the redevelopment of MIG Colony.

The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has presented a surplus budget of ₹8,455 crore for the fiscal year 2026-27, prioritizing infrastructure upgrades and water security. Key allocations include the expansion of the Narmada water project (Phase IV) for 24/7 water supply to outskirts and the completion of master plan roads.

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has launched the Indore-Pithampur Economic Corridor, a significant infrastructure project valued at ₹2,360 crore. This corridor aims to enhance logistics and connectivity between (Super corridor) Indore and Pithampur, fostering industrial growth and creating an estimated 6 lakh employment opportunities.
