The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has approved 60 urban development proposals, including relaxed map norms, over 1,100 luxury flats, 1,832 affordable flats, a modern bus terminal at Charbagh. The LDA has also launched the Naimish Nagar model township project along Sitapur Road, spanning 1,084 hectares and designed to house around three lakh residents.. The LDA has also inaugurated the Anant Nagar Housing Scheme, an 800-acre project near the international airport, expressway, and Ring Road, including housing for 1.5 lakh people.
