Railway Multitracking Project to Enhance Connectivity to Bareilly
The Union Cabinet has approved two major railway multitracking projects worth ₹24,815 crore, which will add approximately 601 km to the railway network. One of these projects, the Ghaziabad–Sitapur 3rd and 4th line (403 km), will improve connectivity across industrial centers including Ghaziabad, Moradabad, and Bareilly.

LDA Fast-Tracks Naimish Nagar Township Project
Lucknow Development Authority has accelerated its Naimish Nagar township project, with farmers consenting to provide 430 hectares of land along IIM Road. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has approved 60 urban development proposals, including relaxed map norms, over 1,100 luxury flats, 1,832 affordable flats, a modern bus terminal at Charbagh. The LDA has also launched the Naimish Nagar model township project along Sitapur Road, spanning 1,084 hectares and designed to house around three lakh residents.. The LDA has also inaugurated the Anant Nagar Housing Scheme, an 800-acre project near the international airport, expressway, and Ring Road, including housing for 1.5 lakh people.
