The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has identified and planned 11 new bridge and flyover projects, with an estimated cost of ₹643 crore, to address the increasing traffic scenario in the city. These projects include elevated road overbridges and widening of existing bridges, aimed at ensuring a smooth, safe, and free flow of traffic.

The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has presented a Rs 7609 crore budget for 2026-27, which includes plans for a new headquarters and significant investments in core infrastructure such as water, drainage, and stormwater management. The budget also proposes the development of new sports complexes.
