The Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (MRIDC) has completed two significant infrastructure projects in Nagpur: a Road Over Bridge at Level Crossing No. 73 (Dipti Signal) and a Road Under Bridge connecting Dipti Signal to Shantinagar and Lakadganj. Additionally, MRIDC has proposed seven new flyovers and junction improvements across the city.

NMC is set to open financial bids for 534.89km of sewerage network works as part of the Rs 1,926.99-crore Nag River Pollution Abatement Project. This crucial upgrade involves constructing and replacing nearly 535km of sewer pipelines, costing over Rs 542 crore, and is expected to significantly reduce pollution in the Nag River system.

Central Nagpur residents are seeking the mayor's intervention against the Nagpur Municipal Corporation's (NMC) proposed 18-storey commercial complex within Gandhibagh Garden, the last major open space in the congested locality. Residents fear the project could affect nearly 27 trees and lead to severe traffic congestion on the arterial road.
