The Surat Metro Phase 1 is on track for an initial operational launch in June 2026, with trial runs currently being conducted on the Dream City to Althan Tenement stretch. The full network, spanning 40.35 km with 38 stations, is expected to be completed by December 2027.

The contract, valued at ₹160.76 crore, includes the development of flats at T.P. Scheme No. 54 (Bhestan) and encompasses complete construction, internal and external amenities.
