Dahisar, Thane

Two new stretches of the Mumbai Metro are scheduled to open by December 31, 2025. These include the Dahisar East to Kashigaon section of Metro Line 9 and the Diamond Garden to Mandale section of Metro Line 2B. This expansion aims to improve connectivity between Dahisar East and Mira-Bhayandar, as well as provide a crucial east-west corridor. Trial runs are underway already.

Prestige Group has launched 'Prestige Garden Trails', a premium residential project in the Dahisar–Mira Road corridor, offering 1,324 homes across 5.2 acres. The project is strategically located near an upcoming Metro station and offers seamless connectivity via the Western Express Highway and Metro Line 9. It is surrounded by essential amenities like schools and hospitals, and features many modern amenities.

The central government has approved the transfer of 53.174 acres of salt land in Thane district to the Maharashtra government for the Dahisar to Vasai Creek road project, which aims to enhance traffic flow and connectivity across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The project is being implemented in two sections: Dahisar to Bhayandar, and Bhayandar to Vasai Creek.
