Ahmedabad is set to be developed as an 'Olympic Ready City' with significant investments allocated in the Gujarat Budget 2026-27. Rs 1,278 crore is allocated to transform the city for the 2030 Commonwealth Games. A specific allocation of Rs 500 crore is designated for the Sardar Patel Sports Enclave. The Gujarat state budget for 2026-27 includes a significant allocation of Rs 33,504 crore for urban development.
