Several new launch residential projects are available in Vijayawada, including Fugen Golden Orchids, Sri Sai Pragathi Heights, SVS Towers, and Sri Adinath Enclave. These projects offer apartments, villas, and plots from various builders, with prices and amenities differing across developments.

The foundation stone has been laid for a 920-meter-long Gunadala Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Level Crossing (LC) 316. This project, part of the Gunadala-Vijayawada and Rayanapadu-Vijayawada ROB Project, is expected to be completed in 18 months with an estimated cost of Rs 986.8 million.

Union Minister highlighted that the construction of the Vijayawada airport terminal is on track for completion before the Dasara festival. The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) has prepared a draft proposal to increase the number of wards from 64 to 86. This delimitation aims to ensure each ward has an electorate of approximately 8,000 to 10,000 citizens. The draft will be made public for suggestions before finalization, potentially leading to better representation and service delivery in local governance.
