The real estate market in Lucknow is experiencing growth with several new housing projects planned for launch in 2026. Shalimar Group is set to launch key projects including phases of the Shalimar OneWorld township, Shalimar Gallant West in Mahanagar, and Garden Bay Crown on IIM Road, offering luxury apartments and family homes.

Commercial flight operations began at Noida International Airport on June 15, 2026, with the inaugural IndiGo flight originating from Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. This new air route is expected to significantly enhance connectivity between Noida and Lucknow, offering a more efficient travel option.

A three-lane flyover, measuring 1,811.72 meters, will be constructed at the Dubagga intersection on the Lucknow-Hardoi route at a cost of ₹305.31 crore. This project has received cabinet approval and is expected to significantly ease congestion at this major traffic hub in Lucknow.

The Union Budget 2026-27 has allocated ₹1,450 crore for the Lucknow Metro Phase II,East-West corridor (Charbagh-Basant Kunj corridor). This funding will expedite the construction of the 11.16 km corridor, featuring 12 stations, and improve connectivity in the western parts of Lucknow. The corridor will cover 11.16 km from Charbagh to Basant Kunj at an estimated cost of ₹5,801 crore.

A new link under Lucknow's Green Corridor Project (Phase 2 of IIM Road to Kisan Path) is set to open by December 15, aiming to halve travel time on the Samatamulak Crossing–Nishatganj route and ease peak-hour traffic. The Rs 130-crore project includes bridges and road widening, which will significantly improve north–south traffic connectivity in the city.
