Rohini is a subcity of Delhi, India's Union Territory's North West district. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA), which was founded in the 1980s to offer a composite society for all socioeconomic classes, began with this project as its first sub-city project. [1] One of the 12 zones managed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is Rohini.

Brief Description – Rohini

In North West Delhi, Rohini is one of the oldest planned residential subcities. Since Rohini was the Delhi Development Authority's (DDA) first project and it was launched in 1980, the majority of the development is in the form of DDA flats with 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK, but there are some builder floor apartments. There are more than 50 sectors in Rohini. Each sector has its own parks and neighbourhood shopping establishments. The advantage of Rohini's strategic location in relation to connectivity to both West and East Delhi. Due to the presence of some well-established manufacturers and warehouses in the area, Rohini is chosen by both the service class and small businessmen. Another notable feature of this area is Delhi's sole heliport.

Land Allotment Cleared for Rithala-Narela-Kundli Metro Corridor, Construction to Expedite

The Delhi government will launch 75 new schemes and programs during the 'Seva Pakhwada' from September 17 to October 2 to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, including facilities for visually impaired students, intellectually disabled persons, and senior citizens. As part of 'Sewa Pakhwada', the Delhi government will enroll 50,000 new beneficiaries under the Old Age Pension Scheme and increase the pension allowance by Rs 500. Beneficiaries aged 60 years and above will receive Rs 2,500 per month, up from the earlier Rs 2,000, while those aged 70 years and above will get Rs 3,000 per month, up from Rs 2,500. SC/ST beneficiaries will receive an extra Rs 500 per month.

I have been in this area since my childhood and I love this place very much. There are reputed malls and schools like Delhi Public School, Jindal International School, and so on. The road connectivity of this place is very sound and posh. There are hospitals like ESI hospital, Sri Balaji hospital, and many more. One can lead a healthy life here. The famous Japanese park is here which is extremely beautiful.

I have been living here for 2 years in an apartment. The social infrastructure is very popular here and the commuting system is sound. Here the Swarn Jayanti District park is the largest and there are so many educational institutions, like Delhi Public School, Jindal International school, and so on. Hospital service is very popular here and the roads are very clean.

I am a permanent resident at Rohini in North West Delhi, which is one of the oldest areas of Delhi. There are many green parks in this place and bus stations are in every sector. There is a metro station within a walking distance, and Rajiv Nagar is a developing colony here which is linked with the metro station. Overall the place is well-maintained.

I am residing in Rohini, Delhi from last 6 years, I have feel very safe and healthy in the locality but there are less offices and corporates. The locality is very clean and green and there are so many parks. Rohini is best place for peaceful living.

I have been to Rohini which is an urban city in North West Delhi and is a place of greenery. There are so many green parks, mostly the Swarn Jayanti District Park is the largest and of beautiful. The famous Bhagwan Mahavir road passes through here. The locality and the public markets are very noisy and congested badly.

I was a resident in Rohini for ten years and I loved the place for its hospital services. The ESI hospital, Sri Balaji hospital, and Max hospital are some of the recognized ones. I liked the road facility and the green parks here. The city is very congested with traffic and crowds all the time. Delhi public school is the best educational institute of my concern.
