Government Digitizes Land Records with DILRMP 3.0
The Central government has launched DILRMP 3.0 with a ₹565.5 crore outlay for 2026–31, aiming to integrate land records, maps, and registrations, assign 14-digit Bhu-Aadhaar numbers, and modernize registration offices. This initiative seeks to increase transparency in property transactions and reduce disputes by digitizing legacy records and strengthening urban property mapping.
