Delhi's Master Plan 2041 is expected to be approved soon, providing a policy framework for the city's land use, housing, and infrastructure development for the next two decades. The government has also highlighted significant development works in South Delhi, including metro expansion, elevated roads, and improved civic amenities, funded by approximately ₹40,000 crore.

The Delhi government has approved an ₹802.18 crore project to redevelop over 241 major roads across the city, aiming to make them pothole-free and durable using a 'wall-to-wall carpeting' model. The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will launch an e-bus service from Hindon Civil Terminal in January to improve last-mile connectivity. The service will operate on two routes, Dilshad Garden and Madhuban Bapudham township via Wave City, with buses running every 30 minutes. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will launch a new housing scheme, 'DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana,' in December for government employees in Narela. The scheme offers ready-to-move-in flats across HIG, MIG, and EWS categories at a 25% discount. This initiative aims to boost sales in Narela, which has seen improved connectivity due to projects like the UER-II and the Delhi Metro's Phase-IV.

The Delhi government has approved a Rs 220-crore project for Kirari as part of its new drainage master plan. This initiative aims to address the city's chronic waterlogging issues by upgrading and modernizing the drainage infrastructure in the Kirari area. Drainage will run along Railway line along Najafgarh to Mundka halt.
