The NMC has approved a budget of Rs 6,202.99 crore for the fiscal year 2026-27. The budget, passed after extensive debate, focuses on infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and revenue enhancement without increasing property taxes.

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) approved 474 housing projects in Nagpur during the financial year 2025-26. This is part of the total 10,379 projects approved across Maharashtra. These approvals reflect the ongoing development and regulatory compliance within Nagpur's real estate sector, promoting transparency and timely project completion.
