Several new residential projects have been launched in Vadodara, including Parkrest Villas in Waghodi Road, offering 3 BHK & 4 BHK units. These projects, developed by various builders, are expected to cater to the growing housing demand in the city, with possession dates ranging from late 2026 to 2029.

The Vadodara Urban Development Authority (VUDA) has approved revised budgets for 2025-26 and 2026-27, allocating significant funds for infrastructure works. This includes the completion of the 75-metre ring road, road and drainage networks, gardens, ponds, and housing projects. An additional ₹50 crore is sanctioned for the ring road project, in the city's peripheral areas.

The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has presented its budget of ₹7,609 crore for 2026-27, which includes a plan for a new headquarters and ambitious projects for sports, wellness, and recreation.
