Vasind is a suburban city in the Thane district of Maharashtra. It is 63 km northeast of Mumbai metropolitan city and 106 km southwest of Nashik. Vasind is well-connected to the rest of Maharashtra via the railway line Mumbai and Kasara and the National Highway 160.
