The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has approved six major urban infrastructure projects worth Rs 2,719.80 crore for Ahmedabad. These include sewer network rehabilitation, an Intelligent Water Management System, an Integrated Sludge Management Facility, and an Integrated Transit Management System.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for civic infrastructure and public utility projects worth approximately Rs 404.63 crore in Ahmedabad. These include the induction of 155 new air-conditioned electric buses, housing projects, water supply works, road infrastructure, Civic digitization initiatives & a new heritage-themed public park.

During the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, eight new Smart industrial estates were announced for five districts, including Ahmedabad and Kheda. This initiative aims to boost regional infrastructure and foster industrial growth.

CREDAI Ahmedabad, in a high-level meeting with over 400 builders, has decided to increase property prices effective July 1, 2026.
