Cyclone Arnab made landfall near Visakhapatnam in the early hours of Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with wind speeds of 125-135 kmph, gusting to 150 kmph. The cyclone brought very severe cyclonic storm conditions, heavy to very heavy rainfall, and a storm surge to coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.Flight and train services were significantly disrupted, with over 50 trains canceled.
