Surat Metro and Urban Infrastructure Receive Major Funding in Gujarat Budget 2026-27
The Gujarat government has allocated ₹2,217 crore for the expansion of the Surat Metro network as part of its ₹33,504 crore budget for the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department for 2026-27.. Additionally, ₹1,900 crore has been allocated under AMRUT Mission 2.0 to support water supply, drainage, and urban transport.
