Bhopal Metro Tunneling Begins: TBM 'Durgavati' Starts Underground Work
The Bhopal Metro project has entered a significant new phase with the commencement of underground tunneling. The Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) 'Durgavati' has begun excavating at a depth of 24 meters, aiming to connect older parts of the city without disrupting surface traffic. This advanced 'mobile factory' will operate with zero vibration and noise pollution, promising minimal impact on daily life.
