Plans have been unveiled for a new 1,000-seat multipurpose convention centre in Puri, aimed at enhancing its status as a destination for conferences and events. This infrastructure development is expected to boost tourism, cultural exchange, and economic growth in the region by providing a modern venue for national and international gatherings.

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to reorganize its three zonal offices into six to ensure smoother public service delivery and better administration. This move is expected to improve the implementation and supervision of various projects and schemes within the state capital, leading to more efficient management of civic affairs.
