The Maharashtra government has approved the development of a new Outer Ring Road around Nagpur, a project estimated to cost ₹7,474 crore. This initiative is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity across the Nagpur metropolitan region.

The Siempre Apartment project in Nagpur, a RERA-registered residential development, is scheduled for completion on April 30, 2026. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has collected only Rs 2,680.27 crore in the first 10 months of the financial year, achieving barely 48% of its Rs 5,565 crore budget target. Internal revenue heads like property tax and water charges have fallen short of targets. This financial shortfall raises concerns about the corporation's ability to fund upcoming infrastructure demands and civic works.
