Part of the Tilak Nagar constituency, this is a colony situated in East Delhi balanced on the border of Noida and Delhi. A concoction of low rise apartment buildings and independent homes and bungalows,this is an unplanned residential locality with narrow lanes and congested living space.surrounded by Ashok Nagar Extension, Mayur Vihar, Trilokpuri, Chilla and Vasundhara Enclave in Delhi and Sector 15 of Noida, and has the Mother Dairy plant in proximity.

A very well connected  area , well-connected with many prime localities of East Delhi through the Noida Link Road and Ghazipur Road, and with South Delhi  through the DND Flyway. The work on Phase 3 of the Barapullah corridor is going on, once completed it  will  boost connectivity by a big margin . The locality has its own metro station  New Ashok Nagar Metro Station. It is also served by the Mayur Vihar Pocket-1 Metro Station , which lies  at a distance of 3 km. The area is also connected to its neighbourhood by Auto-rickshaw and E-rickshaw services, which are readily  available from New Ashok Nagar metro station to Vasundhara Enclave, Dharamshila Cancer Hospital, New Ashok Nagar Police Chowki and supermarkets like Plaza Market or DDA Market. The nearest railway station is Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station 9 kms away.

Walking around makes me feel safe, and my daily trip is simple since the Metro station is nearby and cars or electric rickshaws are easily accessible. Almost every day I ride the metro to get to work close to Noida and Anand Vihar; it is quite practical. Near my house, I like modest local markets; Dharamshila Hospital and excellent schools such Mothers Heritage or C K Nair Public School are closeby. I also find appealing that major malls like DLF Mall of India are only a fast trip away. In some areas, I do want more green parks nearby homes shortly in addition to more frequent street cleaning.
