The interchange connecting the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida is scheduled to open by October 15, 2026. This crucial infrastructure project, which faced cost escalations from ₹75.5 crore to ₹270 crore due to delays, is expected to significantly improve connectivity to the Noida International Airport.

All construction activities undertaken in New Noida after October 2024 have been declared illegal by the authorities. This stringent measure underscores the authorities' commitment to preventing unauthorized development and ensuring planned growth in the region.

GDA has set a 14-day deadline for developers to obtain map approvals under the old system before fully transitioning to the new Fast and Simplified Trust-Based Plan Approval System.This new system,aims to expedite the approval process through GIS-based scrutiny and online tracking, potentially speeding up construction projects.

Real estate developers anticipate a surge in housing demand in Ghaziabad and Meerut following the operationalization of the Delhi-Meerut RRTS.
