NMC Revenue Falls Short of Target
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has collected only Rs 2,680.27 crore in the first 10 months of the financial year, achieving barely 48% of its Rs 5,565 crore budget target. Internal revenue heads like property tax and water charges have fallen short of targets. This financial shortfall raises concerns about the corporation's ability to fund upcoming infrastructure demands and civic works.
