While Gurugram continues to lead in NCR real estate launches and sales, Ghaziabad is posting the fastest quarterly growth in both new supply and housing demand. This surge indicates a growing attractiveness of Ghaziabad as a real estate destination within the National Capital Region, driven by infrastructure development and increasing buyer interest.

The Noida Authority will begin land acquisition for its New Noida project (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region) in August. Ground surveys will be conducted across 37 villages for the first phase. The project aims to develop a smart city and industrial hub, with 40% of the land earmarked for industrial purposes. This development is expected to strengthen the region's logistics network and create economic opportunities.

GDA has set a 14-day deadline for developers to obtain map approvals under the old system before fully transitioning to the new Fast and Simplified Trust-Based Plan Approval System.This new system,aims to expedite the approval process through GIS-based scrutiny and online tracking, potentially speeding up construction projects.

Ghaziabad's real estate market is experiencing a significant boom in 2026, attributed to its strong infrastructure, prime transport corridors, and rising demand from NCR commuters. Areas like Indirapuram, Siddharth Vihar, and Raj Nagar Extension are identified as hotspots.

GDA announced the upcoming launch of the first phase of the Harnandipuram housing scheme in September. This phase will be developed on a 48-hectare land parcel near Raj Nagar Extension. The overall township is planned across 501 hectares.

NCR-based Karyan Group has launched its luxury housing project 'Trevana Residences' on NH-24, with an investment of approximately ₹900 crore. The project features 3 and 4 BHK luxury apartments and is slated for completion by 2030. The launch is attributed to improved connectivity from the upcoming Delhi-Dehradun Expressway.

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is planning to revamp 10 key junctions and road stretches across the city to combat traffic congestion. This includes constructing an elevated road from Raj Nagar Extension towards Kavinagar and Shastri Nagar to bypass Hapur Chungi.

The Ghaziabad-Kanpur Expressway ,is nearing completion and is expected to be fully operational by early 2027. This 380-km greenfield expressway will connect Noida, Ghaziabad, and Kanpur, drastically reducing travel time between Delhi-NCR and central Uttar Pradesh to under five hours.

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has launched infrastructure projects worth ₹227 crore, with implementation planned across all 100 wards by March 2026. The allocation includes funds for urban beautification (₹6 crore), solid waste management (₹32 crore), and air quality improvement (₹30 crore).
