Odisha is set to benefit from 58 port-linked infrastructure projects valued at over Rs 56,350 crore under the Sagarmala program. These projects include major rail, road, and logistics initiatives centered around key ports. Several projects are completed, while ongoing ones like a smart industrial port city in Paradip and deepening of its inner harbor are underway.

BDA and BMC have launched a pilot project to install modern traffic and parking-cum-commuter sheds at key locations. These shelters feature flame vine creepers on fabric canopies, creating a natural green cover that will reduce heat absorption and lower ambient temperatures.

The Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) is planning four new housing projects across the state, collectively offering 6,877 dwelling units, including affordable housing.
