The Noida Authority will begin land acquisition for its New Noida project (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region) in August. Ground surveys will be conducted across 37 villages for the first phase. The project aims to develop a smart city and industrial hub, with 40% of the land earmarked for industrial purposes. This development is expected to strengthen the region's logistics network and create economic opportunities.

Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) announced an auction of over 120 residential and commercial plots on June 20, 2026. The Mixed use plots are located in key areas including Indirapuram, Madhuban Bapu Dham, Indraprastha, Vaishali, and Kaushambi, with sizes ranging from 120 to 7,000 square meters.Applications are open until June 17, 2026.

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is planning to revamp 10 key junctions and road stretches across the city to combat traffic congestion. This includes constructing an elevated road from Raj Nagar Extension towards Kavinagar and Shastri Nagar to bypass Hapur Chungi.

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has launched infrastructure projects worth ₹227 crore, with implementation planned across all 100 wards by March 2026. The allocation includes funds for urban beautification (₹6 crore), solid waste management (₹32 crore), and air quality improvement (₹30 crore).

GDA has requested the DMRC to prepare a detailed project report for a new 16-kilometer metro line. Uttar Pradesh RERA registered 308 real estate projects in 2025, a 19% increase from the previous year, with Noida leading the state with 69 registered projects. These projects accounted for ₹37,161 crore in investment, representing over half of the total investment in Uttar Pradesh. This sustained activity in Noida's property market.

The Union Cabinet has approved two major railway multitracking projects worth ₹24,815 crore, which will add approximately 601 km to the railway network. One of these projects, the Ghaziabad–Sitapur 3rd and 4th line (403 km), will improve connectivity across industrial centers including Ghaziabad, Moradabad, and Bareilly.

The redevelopment of Ghaziabad railway station, started in January 2023 with a 30-month timeline, has missed deadline with only 40% of the work completed. The project aims to transform the station into a modern three-storey complex with new foot overbridges, escalators, a skywalk, multi-level parking, and dedicated lanes for e-buses. The delay is attributed to the complexity of construction on a busy trunk line.
