The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is planning to revamp 10 key junctions and road stretches across the city to combat traffic congestion. This includes constructing an elevated road from Raj Nagar Extension towards Kavinagar and Shastri Nagar to bypass Hapur Chungi.

The Uttar Pradesh government has informed the National Green Tribunal (NGT) that 888 unauthorized colonies across six districts are discharging approximately 40 million liters of sewage daily into the Hindon River. This discharge, along with industrial effluent and sludge from open storm drains, contributes to severe river pollution.

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has launched infrastructure projects worth ₹227 crore, with implementation planned across all 100 wards by March 2026. The allocation includes funds for urban beautification (₹6 crore), solid waste management (₹32 crore), and air quality improvement (₹30 crore).

GDA has requested the DMRC to prepare a detailed project report for a new 16-kilometer metro line. This corridor aims to connect Vaishali to Gokulpuri in Northeast Delhi, passing through Hindon Civil Terminal. The proposed line is expected to have seven stations and will significantly improve connectivity for residents of Indirapuram, Vasundhara, and Vaishali, potentially reducing last-mile travel challenges.

Saya Gold Avenue, a premium residential development by Saya Homes, is experiencing a significant increase in demand from high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) in Indirapuram. The project's focus on creating a self-sustained ecosystem for wellness, leisure, and community living has been a key differentiator.

A tertiary water treatment plant in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, is now operational, supplying 15 million liters per day of treated water to over 1,200 industries in the Sahibabad industrial area. This project, partly funded by green municipal bonds, is expected to reduce dependence on ground and surface water, promoting industrial sustainability.
